and here we are, at a stagnant Apple, that sells overpriced products, some with them with laughable specs, like 60Hz displays, in a era where cheap chinese phones offer 120 Hz displays with edge to edge displays. The current lineup is confusing (there are too many products being sold at the same time, like the ipads) and the products became just a fashion statement.

If you think about it, it’s almost like he created you know, computers, and iPods and iPhones and all I know computers out, but he’s almost like a genius and his own little way I mean he had a lot of people work for him and designed things but he was very much like a sales person and you know had great great new ideas and he knew how to carry things, but he was almost almost as important as the person that discovered or the wheel all these other other scientist, like he’ll never be lost in history, everybody will remember him

Jobs was certainly a marketing genius, and greatly affected consumer behavior. But if he'd never been born, technology would be much the same as it actually is. He didn't change _everything,_ but Apple was a company, among others, that surely shaped the technology of the times.
